Methanesulfonyl Chloride is a building block for agricultural and pharmaceutical chemicals synthesis. It also finds application and Dyes Manufacturing. The main use of methanesulfonyl chloride is the formation of Methanesulfonates from alcohols in the presence of a non-nucleophiclic base.
