Application:
DL-Methionine (H-DL-Met-OH) (CAS: 59-51-8) is is one of the basic units for composing the protein, is the only sulfur bearing amino acid among the essential amino acids, it participated in the transmethylation interior the animal body, the phosphorus metabolism and the adrenalin, choline and creatine synthesis, it also is the raw material of the protein and cystine synthesis. Methionine is unable to synthesize in the animal body, must take in from food. Adds it in the feed, can promote the poultry to grow, increase lean meat quantity and reduce the feeding cycle. Application of Dl-Methionine {Feed Grade} Animal feed supplement for livestock is chelated by DL-Methionine and zinc sulphat. 1. Resulting from the reaction of a mole of zinc ion to a moles of methionine, high chelate percentage, the greatest stability. 2. High bioavailability, better nutrition of zinc, is a kind of better feed additive. 3. Don't be affected by pH value, inorganic ions and organic macromolecules in digestive tract. Product function Be added to animal feeds, DL-Methionine can help animals grow quickly in a short time and about 40% of their feed can be saved. 1. The bioavailability of animal feed supplement for livestock significantly better than other organic zinc. 2. Solve the problem of hoof crack for sows efficiently . 3. Increase the laying, fertilization, and hatching rates, improve the quality of eggshell. 4. Leads to the removal of rough and messy feather, obtaining bright feather. And decrease in cannib alism of pecking the plume and anus. 5. Increase feed intake effectively, can improve animal growth and the resistance of disease, promote more nutrition. 6. This zinc methionine can suplement animals nore nutrition healthy, can make the animals growth. {Food Grade} DL-Methionine is one of the 18 common amino acids, and one of the eight essential amino acids at the animal and human body. It is mainly used as feed additives in fish, chickens, pigs and cows meal in order to keep animal and fowl growing healthily. It can improve the milk secretion of cows, prevent the occurrence of hepatosis. Besides, it can also be used as amino acid medicines, injection solution, a nutritional infusion, the agent of protective liver, the therapy liver cirrhosis and toxic hepatitis. 1. DL-Methionine can be used in the synthesis of medicinal vitamins, nutritional supplements and feed additives. 2. DL-Methionine is one of the main components of amino acid infusion and compound amino acid. DL-Methionine has anti-fatty liver function. Taking advantage of this function, the synthetic medicinal vitamins can be used as liver protection preparations. 3. As essential amino acid of the human body, DL-Methionine can be used as a nutritional supplement in food and preservative processing such as fish cake products. 4. As an important component in protein synthesis, DL-Methionine has a protective effect on the heart muscle. At the same time, DL-Methionine can be converted into Taurine by sulfur, while Taurine has a very obvious hypotensive effect. DL-Methionine also has a good function for liver protection and detoxification, so it is commonly used in clinical treatment of liver diseases such as cirrhosis, fatty liver and various acute and chronic viral hepatitis. It has a very good effect. 5. DL-Methionine can be used as nutional supplement. DL-Methionine has the same effect with L-Methionine, but DL-Methionine is cheaper. 6. DL-Methionine can be formulated as a flavoring agent. 7. DL-Methionine is the feed nutrition enhancer. Livestock and poultry lack of Methionine, can lead to stunted growth, weight loss, liver and kidney function abate, muscle atrophy, fur, metamorphism and so on. Add 1 kg Methionine, feed of 50 kg fish meal nutrition value. Feed in the general content of 0.05% to 0.2%.Test Method:

CHARACTERS Almost white, crystalline powder or small flakes, sparingly soluble in water, very slightly soluble in alcohol. It dissolves indilute acids and in dilute solutions of the alkali hydroxides. It melts at about270℃ (instantaneous method) IDENTIFICATION First identification: A, C. Second identification: B,C,D A. Examine by infrared absorption spectrophotometry (2.2.24), comparing with the spectrum obtained with DL-Methionine CRS. Dry the substances at 105℃ B. Examine the chromatograms obtained in the test for related substances. The principal spot in the chromatogram obtained with test solution (b) is similar in position, colour and size to the principal spot in the chromatogram obtained with reference solution (a). C. Dissolve 2.50 g in1 M hydrochloric acid and dilute to 50.0mL with the same acid. The angle of optical rotation (2.2.7) is - 0.05° to + 0.05°. D. Dissolve 0.1 g of the substance to be examined and 0.1 g of glycine R in 4.5 mL of dilute sodium hydroxide solution R. Add 1 mL of a 25 g/L solution of sodium nitroprusside R. Heat to 40℃ for 10min. Allow to cool and add 2mL of a mixture of 1 volume of phosphoric acid R and 9 volumes of hydrochloric acid R. A deep-red colour develops. TESTS Solution S.
