A preparation method of D-Glutamic Acid γ-Benzyl Ester, comprising the following steps: using glutamic acid as a starting material, glutamic acid -5-benzyl ester was obtained by esterification and purification with benzyl alcohol, and then glutamic acid -5-benzyl ester was transesterified with tert-butyl acetate under catalyst to obtain glutamic acid -5-benzyl ester -1-tert-butyl ester, finally, D-Glutamic Acid γ-Benzyl Ester was prepared by using ether and hydrochloric acid.
