4-Hydroxybenzophenone (CAS: 1137-42-4) Use 1. It is used in organic synthesis and is an intermediate of anti-infertility drug clomiphene. 2, Used as pharmaceutical intermediates. 3, 4-Hydroxybenzophenone for drug synthesis and UV resistance. 4-Hydroxybenzophenone is obtained by heating and rearranging phenyl benzoate. The phenyl benzoate is heated to 70 DEG C to melt, stirring, the anhydrous aluminum trichloride is quickly put in, the reaction escapes hydrogen chloride, and the temperature is raised by itself, and the reaction is 15min at 130 DEG C. Cool and add dilute hydrochloric acid. Filter and wash to neutral.
