Nonaqueous redox flow batteries as pyridine-based anolyte material that undergoes two reversible reductions in solutions with Li-ion electrolytes. With 4-Cyanopyridine (CAS: 100-48-1) as the starting raw material, 65% Sulfuric Acid was used for hydrolysis reaction to generate Isonicotinic Acid (CAS: 55-22-1), then toluene dehydration and 98% sulfuric acid as catalyst for esterification reaction, and finally washed with pure water to neutral, to get the crude product, distillation under high vacuum conditions, vacuum packaging of the finished product.
