Application:

Boc-S-tert-Butylmercapto-L-Cysteine (Boc-Cys(StBu)-OH) (CAS: 30044-61-2), Boc-amino acids, used in peptide synthesis, reaction type: Boc solid-phase peptide synthesis. StBu is cleaved by mercaptans, phosphines and other reducing agents.  As it is stable towards TFA it is suitable for Boc-SPPS.
