Application:

Diphenylphosphoryl Azide (DPPA) (CAS: 26386-88-9) is a well-known azide reagent used in peptide couplings, curtius rearrangements, and Mitsunobu inversions-is often encountered in pharmaceutical process development because it enables the most direct route to a desired product. DPPA acts as a reagent for the synthesis of peptides and phosphoramidates by reacting with amines. DPPA is used for peptide coupling and 1,3-dipole cycloaddition reactions. It is also used to prepare amino acid copolymers. DPPA is widely used in organic synthesis, pharmaceutical synthesis and peptide synthesis. Azide reagent for azidinization of alkenes catalyzed by tetraphenoporphyrin-cobalt. It is also used as an activator in the preparation of macrocyclic lactam and aldose reductase inhibitors. It is also an important organophosphorus reagent.
