4-Nitrobenzoic Acid is a carboxylic acid derivative. It is a precursor to 4-Nitrobenzoyl Chloride, the precursor to the anesthetic procaine and folic acid. It is also a precursor to 4-Aminobenzoic Acid. 4-Nitrobenzoic Acid used as an intermediate for bulk drugs especially in the manufacturing of folic acid and in the manufacturing of PABA, DABA & dye intermediate. 4-Nitrobenzoic Acid is used in the synthesis of anti-Trypanosoma cruzi agents in the treatment of chagas disease. 4-Nitrobenzoic Acid is pharmaceutical, dye, veterinary drug, photographic materials and other organic synthesis intermediates. Used in the production of Procaine Hydrochloride, P-Aminomethylbenzoic Acid, Folic Acid, Benzocaine, N-(P-Aminobenzoyl)-L-Glutamic Acid etc.
